Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons dry milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon yeast in 3/4 cup warm water (let sit 2-5 minutes until it dissolves)

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Add butter, egg and yeast/water mixture.
  3. Use dough hook. Beat until all ingredients look soft (approximately a couple of minutes).
  4. Leave in bowl and cover with a dry towel in a warm place. Let double in size (about 1 1/2-2 hours.
  5. Divide dough in half.
  6. Roll out thin roll into triangles and roll into crescent rolls.
  7. Put on greased cookie sheet and let rise again (at least 30 minutes).
  8. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove and brush tops with butter and serve.
