Hawaiian Chicken

This recipe has been adapted from "Six Ingredients or Less Chicken Cookbook" by Carlean Johnson


  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, flattened and cut into twelve pieces
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 T. butter and 1 T. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. Tamari sauce, soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 3/8 c. sugar or 3 T. maple syrup
  • (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, with juice


  1. Coat chicken with flour.
  2. Heat butter and oil in skillet and brown chicken. (Do not cook through.)
  3. Place chicken 9 x 13" baking dish.
  4. Combine soy sauce, sugar and juice from pineapple; pour over chicken.
  5. Cover; bake at 350º for 15 minutes.
  6. Uncover; add pineapple and bake additional 15 minutes.

Servings: Serves 6
