Indian Lamb Curry

Ingredients:

  • 2 T. ghee or vegetable oil
  • ½ yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/8 t. ground cloves
  • ¼ t. black pepper
  • 1 lb. lamb, cooked and cubed
  • 1 t. ground ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ t. salt
  • ¼ t. turmeric
  • 1 t. coriander
  • 1 t. garam masala
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • ½ - 1 c. plain yogurt

Directions:

  1. In ghee, sauté onions, ground cloves, and pepper until onions are soft.
  2. Add cubed lamb and spices and cook for additional 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce and heat through.
  4. Just before serving, add the yogurt.

Servings: 4-6
