Ingredients:

For meat sauce:

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 7 T. tomato paste
  • 1 T. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ c. broth (beef or chicken)
  • 1 t. each basil and oregano
  • ½ t. granulated onion

Other ingredients:

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Steamed green beans
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Cook sausage; drain fat.
  2. Add rest of meat ingredients and simmer about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  4. In a round casserole dish or Dutch oven, layer green beans, meat sauce, mashed potatoes and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
