Ingredients:
For meat sauce:
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 7 T. tomato paste
- 1 T. apple cider vinegar
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ c. broth (beef or chicken)
- 1 t. each basil and oregano
- ½ t. granulated onion
Other ingredients:
- Mashed potatoes
- Steamed green beans
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Cook sausage; drain fat.
- Add rest of meat ingredients and simmer about 10-15 minutes.
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a round casserole dish or Dutch oven, layer green beans, meat sauce, mashed potatoes and shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
