Ingredients:
- ¼ c. butter
- ¼ c. flour
- 2 c. beef broth
- ¼ t. ea. salt and pepper
- ½ - 1 t. onion powder
Directions:
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- Add flour and stir with whisk until bubbly.
- Add beef broth and whisk until mixture is smooth and thick.
- Add salt, pepper and onion powder.
Servings: makes 2 cups
