Rotissierie Chicken in the Crock Pot
Ingredients:
- 1 t. dried Italian seasoning
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 2-3 t. Kosher salt
- 1 t. paprika
- 1 t. ground black pepper
- ½ t. cayenne pepper (opt.)
- 1 whole chicken (4-5 lbs.) rinsed and patted dry
- 2 T. olive oil
Directions:
- Mix seasonings together in small bowl.
- Put porcelain dish (bottom side up) or aluminum foil balls in bottom of crock pot.
- Rinse and pat dry chicken.
- Loosen the skin of the chicken and generously rub seasonings under the skin.
- Rub olive oil on top of skin and rub with rest of seasonings.
- Place chicken, breast side down on a small porcelain dish or foil balls.
- Cook on High for 5 hours.
Servings: 1 chicken
