Salsa - Connie's

Ingredients:

  • 16-17 medium tomatoes
  • 2 white onions
  • 1 can green chilies (7 oz)
  • 7 drained jalepenos
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cracked pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. bottled lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne peppers

Directions:

  1. Cook 30 minutes, if really juicy cook longer. Put into hot jars. Put into hot water bath (45 minutes).

Servings: 6 pints
