Crock pot Lasagna

modified from "fix it and forget it"


  • 1lb ground beef
  • 2Tbs dehydrated onion
  • 2cloves garlic minced
  • 24 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 8-oz pkg lasagna noodles,uncooked
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese


  1. Cook beef, onion,and garlic together in saucepan until browned. Drain.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and oregano. Stir well.
  3. Spread 1/4 of meat sauce in ungreased slow cooker. Arrange 1/3 of noodles over sauce.
  4. Combine the cheeses. Spoon 1/3 of mixture over noodles. Repeat layers twice. Top with remaining meat sauce.
  5. Cover. Cook on low 4-5 hours.
