Muffins (1/2 Whole Wheat)

This recipe comes from Grandma D's kitchen
 

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 T. butter, melted
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. white flour
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 3/4 t. baking powder
  • 1/4 t. salt

Directions:

  1. Combine egg, oil, butter, vanilla and water; mix well.
  2. Add flours, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir until just moistened.
  3. Fill greased or lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
  4. Bake in preheated 375º oven for 15-20 minutes.

Servings: Makes 12 muffins.
