Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 c. cooked yams OR 1 large can yams, drained
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 4 T. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 t. vanilla

Topping

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 stick butter

Directions:

  1. Mix first seven ingredients in a blender.
  2. Pour into a buttered dish.
  3. In separate bowl, blend topping ingredients; put on top of yams.
  4. Bake for 1 hour in preheated 325º oven.

Servings: Makes 9x13-inch pan.
