Ingredients:
- 1/4 c. butter or chicken fat
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 chicken breasts, roasted and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 c. sour cream
- 2 heads broccoli, steamed
- Hot rice
Directions:
- Over medium heat, melt butter or chicken fat in large saucepan.
- Stir in flour and cook until bubbly.
- Add broth and Worcestershire sauce; continue to cook and stir until thickened.
- Add cheese; stir while melting.
- Add cooked chicken.
- Add sour cream and stir just until mixed.
- Layer on plates: rice, broccoli and chicken sauce.
Servings: Serves 6-8.
