Millet or Corn Bread

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. millet flour or corn meal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar or 2 T. honey
  • 1 T. baking powder
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/3 c. oil or unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and stir until just moistened.
  2. Pour into well greased glass baking pan.
  3. Bake at 400° for 20 min. or until golden brown.

Servings: Makes 8
