Korean Bulgogi (Barbecue)

This recipe has been adapted from Joanne Corwin.
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb. chuck roast
  • Cooking oil
  • 3 T. soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 1/4 c. sugar OR Sucanat
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1-2" fresh ginger, peeled and grated OR 1 t. ground ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 T. sesame oil

Directions:

  1. Brown chuck roast in oil; place in crock pot.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over roast.
  3. Cook on High for 4-6 hours.
  4. Serve with rice.

Servings: Serves 8-10.
